History: Serena found herself in a local WA shelter. Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find her a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do!

Notes from Serena's Foster Home: Serena is a really fun companion. She likes to be in the middle of the action. Her #1 goal is to find a lap to sit on, or a neck to nuzzle when she is being held. She is very chatty, and will tell you all about her day. She wants to be with her human and may follow you around a bit. She will engage with new people from the start, especially if they scratch her cheek. She loves to sun in the window, explore paper bags, chase balls and play with wand toys. She likes to knead, even when she is on her back you will see her paws working. Serena is on a life-long special urinary diet to avoid crystals. She came to us as a big girl so will need you to monitor her food so she can lose a pound or two for optimum health.
She doesn't mind being groomed and she uses her litter box. Are you looking for a best friend? Serena is your girl!

Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization that is run entirely by volunteers. Motley Zoo does not have a brick and mortar shelter location. Instead, all our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. Please email and request an adoption application and we will work toward approving you as an adopter with our rescue so that we can set a time for you to meet! For more information, please visit

Thank you for considering adopting a cat in need!
