Hello there! I'm Andy! I am a 10 year old, 52 pound, male Husky mix. I was adopted out as a puppy and returned after 10 years because my owners couldn't take care of me anymore. I am a sweet, laid back boy. I love walks, swimming, and being brushed. Like a typical husky, I can be very talkative, but I am usually good at only using my voice outside. I get along well with kids and other animals. I would be a great addition to any home!
Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet. ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $250 for puppies under 6 months of age and $200 for dogs older than 6 months. $150 for kittens under 6 months of age and $125 for cats older than 6 months.
