Name, age, breed: Krillin, 2yrs, boxer mix

Likes: Playing with people and other dogs. He is extremely affectionate and is a people pleaser, eager to learn. EXTREMELY food motivated. Good on walks.

Dislikes: Chickens, he will run the other way if approached!

What would be the ideal home? Could do well in many settings. Needs apprpriate space for excersize (he is extremely fast and athletic) but also has great recall and likes to stay close to his people. A house with or access to a field he could run through would be great! Is fine being crated during the day and has great house manners if exersice needs are met.

Good with other cats? Yes

Good with dogs? Yes! With proper introductions. He can be boisterous so ideal home would have another dog who is a playmate but also could give him appropriate corrections to his play style. He is a rough and tumble playmate but takes correction very well.

Good with children? Likely yes but still has puppy energy and can be mouthy/ jump up. He is easily corrected but older kids recommended.

Temperament: Sweet, loving, silly, charasmatic, very cuddly

Motivators? Food, praise, toys

Any commands? Sit, down, crate, come, drop it, roll over

House trained? Yes

Crate trained? Very well, is crated when alone

How long will it take to settle into a new environment? 3-3-3 rule: First 3 days - First 3 days - Krillin may be overwhelmed and test boundaries. Give him space, time, and a safe, quiet room to decompress.
3 weeks - His true personality will emerge. You may see some behavioral issues-this is normal. Start training early and stay consistent.
3 months - Krillin should feel at home, understand the routine, and settle into your family and lifestyle.

Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? He has amazing house manners and has not shown any destructive tendencies and takes correction very well. He would love to sleep in your bed at night curled up under the blankets! Previously has shown some food/ toy rescourse guarding but has not since being fostered. Seperate feeding/ supervision with toys would be recommended with other dogs. Has had no guarding issues with the other dog he is currently fostered with.

Medical: On medication for allergies, on a vet-prescribed Gastro diet (may not need to be continued long-term)
