Hi, I'm Madden!
I love to be a lap dog, even though I'm a bit of a giant.. I love to be as close to my people as possible (I even like to snuggle with other dogs or cats).
I'm kind of a homebody.. I'm pretty good on a leash and love to get some exercise but I'm a little socially awkward. I really prefer to be home with my people. Cats are cool but I think I'd like to be the only dog in the house. I get along with most other dogs but can be possessive with some.
I'm a little nervous around new people, but if they're kind to me I'll warm up quickly.
I'm a loyal guy and will always make sure my family is protected.
I'm a very happy guy and I can't wait to fall in love with my forever family.
Likes: Toys! Socks.. Yummy things that I'm allowed to chew on.
Dislikes: Being away from my family.
Kennel trained: Unsure, but I do like to hide under tables, etc., when I'm anxious so I might actually like a kennel. My foster family trusts me around the house so I've never had one.
House trained: Yes
Dogs: Yup, for the most part.. see above.
Cats: Yes, I love it when my foster brother cats will let me snuggle or play with them
Children: I'm pretty big and heavy and I love to crawl and sit on my people so as long as they can handle me, I'm sure we'll be great friends.
