Likes: Her sister, Charlotte! Wheeking, popcorning, and purring. Toys - both store-bought hidey holes and cheap and cheerful homemade items (like paper bags, plain newsprint, boxes and toilet paper roles filled with Timothy Hay for foraging). And she isn't afraid to make our own fun either - running around and investigating everything with her sister or playing a quick game of tag. Talking to and interacting with her humans. A good nap (yawn!).
Dislikes: Turnip, Asparagus
What would be the ideal home? A home that wants a snuggle bug in the making! Babe quickly learned about the joys of pets and sitting in her human's lap, and is now working on her next social skill - being picked up. She is currently unsure as she is in the process of being picked up (in a towel) but is as happy as a clam once she's up in your arms!
Good with other pets? Has been in the same area as a cat and did well.
Good with children? Unknown, but I suspect yes.
Temperament: Loving, social, gentle, playful, curious.
How long will it take to settle into a new environment? A few days.
What kind of housing are they in? X-pen
Favourite types of fruits/veggies? Bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, lettuces, apples, dill, parsley, carrots, all kinds of hay but especially Timothy Hay. Always game to try a new type of food!
Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? Babe looks at you with these sweet eyes that melt your heart. She'll also make you laugh with her response to food she doesn't like. She just kind of opens her mouth and lets it roll out, looking at you the whole time like, why would you give me that?! Being with Charlotte and Babe is the loveliest part of every day. It feels so peaceful and happy to sit with them as they crawl up onto you Lor lap for snacks and pets, or even just to spend time hanging out. I actively look forward to our time together each day.
