Rico, a unique blend of paradoxes, making him all the more endearing. He's friendly yet shy, curious yet reserved. Oddly enough, he's both noisy and quiet, confident but distrustful. Rico's wariness makes him cautious, but once he trusts, he's all in. His peculiar habit of nibbling fingers in an affectionate, playful manner is a testament to his distinct personality. He likes being petted. Rico is a 36-pound cuddly companion, who's just waiting for the right person to understand and appreciate his quirks. We don't believe he is house trained and leash walking makes him uncomfortable in the shelter so he'll need your help with his training. Rico is a well-behaved canine, getting along famously with other dogs and cats in his finder's home. We were also told that he knows the sit, no, and eat commands. Rico should be adopted because he's a testament to resilience and the power of trust, a loyal friend who will add joy and warmth to your life. (tw 7/12/2025)
