Susie came to the shelter when her "mom" died. She is a bichon/poodle mix. We were told Susie is 15 or 16 years old but once you see how she walks, you know she is no more than 10 or 11 years old. She has taken one mile walks with her foster. Susie is use to being walked on a leash to go to the bathroom. Her foster mom is helping her learn it is ok to go in the fenced backyard. Susie is a little hand shy which could be because of her eye sight being slightly impaired which comes with age. Susie is not a lap dog but is very sweet. She finds her favorite dog bed and hangs out there. When she has to go outside, she finds you to let you know. She gets along with the other dogs in the house. Susie has no teeth but is doing great eating a little hard food with her soft food. Susie was shaved down due to having a lot of mats in her fur. She is a non-shedder.
