Gustave is a stunning young tabby boy who was asking to get into some condos in Edgewater Park. A kind person fed him and brought him safely to the shelter. He is approximately three years old. He's still taking time to settle in and appreciates someone going very slowly with him. At the finder's home, he loved head scratches and seemed to be okay around other cats. Gustave would prefer an adult home with a cat savvy owner, allowing him time to sit on a cat tree to watch the birds and realize he can have a happy ever after with them. Gustave has been neutered, microchipped, tipped and tested for Leukemia and FIV. He did test positive for FIV, but cats with this virus can live long & happy lives. FIV cannot be passed to humans and can only be transmitted to other cats through a deep bite, so please don't let that deter you from adopting this handsome boy. His adoption fee has been waived by the county. Ask to meet him.
