Introducing Atlas, our lovable Atty-Boy! This 6-year-old Pit Bull Terrier has been with us since October 2023, and we're hoping the perfect family is just around the corner. ??
Atlas weighs in at 64 lbs and is a high-energy guy who loves playing fetch and spending time with his people. He's very treat-motivated, which makes training a breeze - he's working hard on his basic commands, leash walking, and house training. While he can be a bit shy at first, Atlas quickly gains confidence and warms up to new people. ????
Sadly, Atlas has been declining in the shelter and is desperately in need of a stress-free home where he can thrive. He would do best in a home with older teens and adults, and as he's not a fan of other dogs or cats, and does have a bite history, he needs to be your one and only pet. Atlas also struggles with separation anxiety, so he needs a family who can spend time with him, provide consistency, and work on his training. A good routine and some basic obedience training will help him feel more secure and comfortable.
