My name is Harmond and I was born with hypospadias. Hypospadias in dogs is a congenital birth defect where the urethral opening is not located at the tip of the penis but instead on the underside (ventral) of the penis, or even further down the perineum (area between the scrotum and anus). After review, the vet confirmed I am male, will perform my neuter, and further surgery is not deemed necessary, but rather cosmetic. At this time, it is not the intention of the rescue to pursue this surgery. I am a very sweet, friendly guy who is doing well on my crate and potty training. All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days.
