It turned out to be something called mammary carcinoma, which they say is very serious and usually spreads. They told me my time might be shorter than most-maybe a year or so, give or take. But here's the thing: I'm still me. I still purr when I'm happy, I still play, I still love with all my heart. I don't know how much time I have left, but I do know I want to spend it feeling safe, cherished, and loved.
