Max and Emma recently lost their owner and have been struggling ever since-Max, in particular, has been feeling especially scared and unsure. Max is a gentle soul who's still finding his confidence-he's often a little frightened, but he has a loyal companion in Emma, whose calm presence helps him feel at ease. Though they're not bonded, Max and Emma enjoy each other's company, sharing quiet moments together when the shelter gets busy. Max is happiest curled up near Emma or observing the world from a safe distance, and with plenty of patience and space to grow, he'll steadily come out of his shell. He would thrive in a calm, nurturing home-preferably with Emma and with someone who understands the power of gentle support and the stability of feline friendship.
