Meet Thor, a noble 4-and-a-half-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix, tipping the scales at 110 pounds and still filling out into his strong, healthy frame-one slow, steady pawstep at a time.
True to his name, Thor carries himself with quiet dignity. He's a stoic, observant presence-watching the world with thoughtful eyes and a calm demeanor that immediately puts you at ease. But don't be fooled by his composed exterior-there's just enough goofy puppy energy left in him to surprise you with a sudden tail wag, a playful bounce, or a goofy grin that'll make you laugh out loud.
Thor came into care after being surrendered from a home with multiple dogs, and he's shown himself to be both tolerant and respectful with the canine friends he's met. A gentle giant at heart, Thor walks beautifully on leash, keeps his kennel tidy, and should transition well into household potty routines with just a little guidance and consistency.
Thor thrives on connection with people. He's not the type to demand attention, but he's always close by-quietly enjoying your presence, leaning in for a head scratch, or accompanying you on a peaceful walk with his calm, grounding energy. He'd do well in a home that appreciates his tranquil nature and can offer a loving, structured environment where he can continue to grow comfortable and confident.
He has been microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed, and brought current on all vaccinations. He was previously neutered and is now receiving monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives.
