Meet Prue, a sweet and independent 5-year-old Retriever mix who's learning to embrace the joys of a new chapter in life. Prue was surrendered along with the other dogs on the property when their owner could no longer properly care for them.
Though her past was filled with challenges, Prue's spirit remains strong, and with time and patience, she'll shine as a loyal and loving companion. She may be a little reserved at first as she adjusts to the changes in her world, but once she trusts you, she'll shower you with affection, especially when it's cuddle time.
Prue is an independent girl who loves her moments of peace and quiet. While she's more than happy to snuggle with her favorite humans, she also enjoys time alone to recharge. A family who understands this balance will find that Prue is the perfect mix of loving and self-sufficient. She's not a fan of cats, but she does well with other dogs and children.
This lovely lady also enjoys long walks, and she's sure to be the perfect walking buddy for anyone who loves spending time outdoors. Prue is a tidy lady-she keeps her kennel clean, which means housebreaking should be a breeze as she gets used to her new home and routines.

Prue was previously spayed. She is Microchipped. We have updated all vaccines including rabies. She has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention.
