Meet Duke -goofy, exuberant, sweet
A handsome ladies man with a lot of live to give! Now when we say ladies man we mean it literally. Duke likes all humans but he has a big soft spot for females, a true mama's boy you could say. He has a tendency to push the boundaries with males, so a confident, patient leader with power breed knowledge is what Duke is looking for to help him unlock his potential. After all, he really just wants to be the goodest boy!
Duke is a lively energetic boy that still displays some of that puppy mentality and behavior, but he's trying very hard to get it right. Continued training and clear boundaries is a must to help him thrive through his 'teenage' years and transition into your family.
Duke does well with other dogs and has made a couple of friends during his shelter stay. He would love to be the center of attention and be the only dog in the home. Duke has met some kids and could be be in a home with older/teenage kids that would to play and wrestle with him. We do not recommend young children in the home as he can get quite boisterous and mouthy when he is riled up and all he wants to do is play.
