This sweetheart's name is Laney (originally "Mopup" from SAAP), and she's a 5-year-old Boxer with a heart as big as her paws. Weighing in at a sturdy 55 pounds, Laney is a gentle, loving companion who's been cherished for the past 3 years by someone who, heartbreakingly, can no longer care for her due to health issues. Now, Laney is looking for a new person to love-someone who sees the magic in a slightly goofy grin and a tail that wags with full-body enthusiasm.
Laney's got some fabulous qualities:
? Great with kids-she's patient and sweet with the little ones.
? LOVES cats (yes, really!).
? Housebroken and crate trained like a pro.
? Spayed and healthy, with no known medical issues.
She does best as the only dog or with a calm male dog-she's not a fan of other females, and she's a little wary of men at first, but with patience and treats, she warms up just fine.
She's currently on Pedigree and isn't on any medications.
Laney isn't a dog you'll forget. She's expressive, loyal, and the kind of dog who'll follow you from room to room just to keep you company. She needs someone who can handle her size and strength, but more than that-someone who will love her fiercely, just like she'll love them.
