Moxi has two sides to her personality. When she is comfortable with you, she is talkative, outgoing, and friendly as can be. She loves to be petted and will sit on the back of the couch snuggled right against your head when you are relaxing. On the flip side, Moxi disappears under the bed when visitors stop by; she wants absolutely nothing to do with strangers. If you've ever seen her at an adoption event, this is the side of her that she shows in public.
This intelligent girl has lived with kids, cats, and dogs and done fine with them all, but she is also smart enough to realize that life as an only cat is pretty fabulous, so she would be absolutely fine as your one and only.
Moxi spends the bulk of her time napping. She does enjoy an occasional catnip toy and loves cardboard scratch pads. She is fully litter box trained.
Moxi has two items that are her kryptonite that must be kept away from her: string and plants. She will chew/swallow both, posing a definite danger. Moxi also will overeat cat food if given the chance, so she must be fed a measured amount each day. She's been on a fitness journey for the past year and is down six pounds! Moxi has become so much happier and more mobile, finally being able to jump up to the window sill and bathe herself.
Like all SAAP adoptables, Moxi is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and flea/heartworm prevention, and is ready to be yours!
