This 6-year-old Cairn Terrier may not have one giant eye like his namesake, but he does have a big personality waiting to shine through. Mike is a neutered male who's still learning that the world-and the people in it-can be kind and safe.
Mike is on the shy side and tends to speak his mind through barking. He may growl when he feels uncertain, but we believe that with the right, patient person by his side, he'll start to open up and show his softer side. Underneath the bravado is a loyal pup who wants to feel secure and understood.
He's very food-motivated (a great help for bonding and training) and has shown signs of being a protective little guy. Mike is looking for someone experienced with dogs who can respect his space and let him build trust at his own pace.
