Mistletoe and Holly are two female piggies that have been together their whole lives. These two are pretty sure they are little moles, and spend a good deal of time creating blanket tunnels in their kennel here in shelter. These two pigs are bonded, something that is important to respect in Guinea Pigs, who have complex social dynamics at times.
Mistletoe and Holly are adjusting to being handled. They tolerate us in small snippets, and we are confident that in a more relaxed home setting this skill will continue to develop. Right now, the girls' main priority is their leafy greens. It is the absolute best time of the day. The girl's are fully litter boxed trained, making their kennel maintenance considerably easier!
Mistletoe is much smaller than Holly, and much faster too. Holly is more chonky, and a bit more willing to be held. It is important that their future family is willing to offer them the patience and time it takes to work on their socialization and handling.
The adoption fee for this bonded pair is $45. The piggies have both been deemed healthy by an exotics vet.
