Final Refuge Winston Love
Winston is an 11-year-old English Bulldog who's finally found the peace and comfort he deserves. After a lifetime of hardship, Winston came to us frail, malnourished, and with painful sores from laying on concrete. Both of his back ACLs are torn and calcified, and arthritis affects his joints. He also lives with dry eye and skin allergies, but with daily care, medication (gabapentin and carprofen), and lots of love, he's feeling so much better.
Since joining our Final Refuge program, Winston has gained 7 much-needed pounds, and his sores have completely healed. He spends his golden days doing what he loves most-napping in cozy spots and soaking up the sun. His sweet, gentle spirit shines through every time he gazes up at us with his soft eyes.
Winston will live out the rest of his days in comfort and dignity, surrounded by people who cherish him. After all he's been through, he finally knows what it means to be safe, warm, and loved.
