Leif is a sweet, laid-back gentleman with a face of silver and a heart of gold. Leif is living in a foster home, where he has shown that he is a wonderful, easy companion to have around.
Leif enjoys the simple things in life. He likes a good roll in the grass, some tasty treats, and some cuddles on the couch. Leif loves people, and greets new friends with a sweetly wagging tail. He's just happy to be there with you. When Leif was found as a stray, he was in sad condition - totally emaciated and feeling down, but he has a resilient spirit and his capacity to love has never diminished. He understandably loves his food, and is working on getting up to a healthy weight.
Leif has solid house manners already. He is housebroken and does very well being crated. He walks well on leash, aside from trying to chase small critters, so he likely will do best in a home without cats. For his play group assessment, Leif had a chill vibe, and would likely prefer other dogs who are lower-key as well. Leif is quiet and has not yet barked, but does have a charming "woo."
This handsome charmer would likely fit well into a calmer household that is need of a hangout buddy. He is estimated to be around 6 years old and weighs 60 lbs (but is still gaining weight.)
