Kovu is a 4.5-year-old Labrador mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. He recently lost his person, and while his remaining family cared about him, they weren't in a position to give him the time and attention he needs. Now, Kovu is looking for a new beginning with someone who can offer him the stability and affection he deserves. He can be a little shy at first, especially in new environments or with unfamiliar faces, but with a little patience and kindness, his sweet, loyal nature quickly shines through. Kovu is a mellow, affectionate companion who enjoys quiet walks, cozy corners, and just being near his people. He's past the high-energy puppy stage and has lovely manners, making him an easygoing addition to a calm and loving home. If you're looking for a devoted friend who just needs a little time to feel safe, Kovu may be the perfect fit for you.

OPTION ONE: RESERVE A PET IN ADVANCE by filling out an online application at https://wright-wayrescue.org/adoption-application-page
- Our typical turnaround time for applications is within 48 hours.
- An email will be sent to you once your application is approved. This email will include instructions on how to proceed with our reservation process.
- Please note: The location listed in an animal's profile does not indicate where the animal is available for adoption. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.
OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL!
The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Thursday & Friday, 4 pm-8 pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
