Meet Hunter, a 4.5-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with a big heart and a playful spirit. This handsome boy came to us after his previous family could no longer care for him, and he's now looking for a forever home where he can thrive. Hunter is intelligent, loyal, and full of energy-true to his herding breed roots. He loves being with his people and would do best in an active home that can provide him with both mental and physical stimulation. Hunter prefers to be the only pet when it comes to cats, so a feline-free home is a must. If you're ready for a loyal companion who will be by your side for all of life's adventures, Hunter may be the perfect match for you!

THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO ADOPT FROM WRIGHT-WAY RESCUE:
OPTION ONE: RESERVE A PET IN ADVANCE by filling out an online application at https://wright-wayrescue.org/adoption-application-page
- Our typical turnaround time for applications is within 48 hours.
- An email will be sent to you once your application is approved. This email will include instructions on how to proceed with our reservation process.
- Please note: The location listed in an animal's profile does not indicate where the animal is available for adoption. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.
OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL!
The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Thursday & Friday, 4 pm-8 pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
