· A sweet, devoted girl who absolutely loves being around her favourite people.
· Once she feels comfortable, she loves relaxing on the couch, lounging in the yard, or snuggling in bed.
· Enjoys chasing balls and toys, although she's not always interested in bringing them back!
· Loves cheek kisses and will happily present both cheeks when her people come home.
· Enjoys dancing and playful wrestling with her people.
· House trained and comfortable being home alone while her people are away.
· Comes when called and is still learning commands like sit and lie down.
Her perfect match:
· A patient adopter who will let Charlie settle in and build trust at her own pace.
· Could be a great fit for a single person, couple, or family with respectful children, ideally 8+.
· Would likely be happiest as the only pet in the home.
· Could potentially live with a dog-savvy or aloof cat following a slow, gradual introduction, though she would likely prefer not to share her home with cats.
· Would likely do best as the only dog in her forever home, although she generally does not pay much attention to other dogs while out on walks.
· A home that can provide at least one neighbourhood walk each day.
Some extra things to know:
· Charlie is shy and prefers introductions to new people, animals, and experiences to happen at her own pace.
· Loud environments and the vacuum cleaner can be stressful for her.
· She does not like other animals approaching her food or treats, so this should be respected and managed.
