Meet Rosa, a four and a half year old German Shepherd/Husky mix weighing around 75 pounds.

Rosa is as sweet as they come - a calm, gentle girl who's been through a lot but still greets the world with kindness and grace. She has a slight limp in her back legs, likely from an old injury, but don't worry - it doesn't slow her down much or dampen her spirit.

She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys her strolls, which will also help her shed a few extra pounds for her overall well-being. Rosa's ideal home is one filled with love, patience, and soft places to rest her paws.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who's low-key, loving, and ready to be your quiet shadow, Rosa is the girl for you.

Did you know YHS offers a "Foster to Adopt" program?
It's a fun way to make sure you and your potential new pet are the perfect match-like a sleepover, but with extra cuddles! Spend a little time together before making things official. It's a win-win! Just stop by the front desk and ask how to get started.
