Finder notes - Dog friendly! Was great with finder's dogs for a week! He was running loose at an RV park for at least a week and was alone in a thunderstorm in the rain fending for himself. His finder took him in and had no luck finding an owner. She said he loves her dogs big and small and also loves playing ball.
Meet Colt! This 3-year-old, 54-lb Pit Mix is a gentle, easy-going sweetheart with velvet-soft fur, adorable speckles, and a smile that could melt anyone's heart.
Colt was found roaming alone during a thunderstorm-scared, soaked, and searching for shelter. A kind-hearted Good Samaritan took him in for a week, hoping to find his family, but no one came. During his stay, Colt proved himself to be a total sweetheart. He got along wonderfully with both big and small dogs, loved people, and showed off his gentle, low-energy nature.
Now sitting in an overcrowded shelter, Colt continues to be a good boy who walks well on leash, seems potty trained, and knows basic obedience. He enjoys playing ball, making new friends, and simply being near the people he loves. With his calm presence and affectionate spirit, Colt is ready to finally be part of a home where he's never left out in the rain again. He'd even love another dog or two in his new home if anyone gives him a chance.
?? Will someone show Colt that he is loved, cherished, and deserves far more than fending for himself in a storm? He's waiting patiently, smile and all, for the second chance he so deeply deserves.
