He walks beautifully on leash, is potty trained, food motivated, and knows his basic obedience-the kind of well-mannered pup who's long past the shoe-chewing stage and just wants to be someone's loyal companion.
Alvin gets along wonderfully with other dogs and adores people. He's a low to medium energy boy who's just as happy going for a walk as he is lounging at your feet. And yes-he looks absolutely adorable in a cowboy hat, ready to ride off into the sunset with his forever family.
He arrived at the shelter as an unclaimed stray, and heartbreakingly, no one ever came looking for him. Despite that, Alvin remains the sweetest boy, still believing that someone out there will see him, choose him, and love him like he's always deserved.
