Say hello to Picasso! He's a one year old mixed breed dog who was brought to us by the public. He has an even keeled and good-natured temperament. Picasso at times can be wary of loud noises or being around other animals with high energy. We believe that with a proper introduction to a canine with a similar temperament, they could live harmoniously in the same household.
One of our lovely volunteers has taken Picasso out on our 'Hounds on the Town' program where she brought him on hikes and into town. She has shared that Picasso is well-behaved while adventuring around and has positive interactions with new people, allowing them to pet him when they approach. He has good leash manners - he will pull slightly to investigate an interesting smell but otherwise he's very attentive and walks next to you.
