Meet Sawyer!
Sawyer came to Saint Frances Animal Center on January 12, 2026, after being found emaciated and wandering in the road. Despite his rough start, this handsome boy has shown us exactly what a happy, lovable hound he can be!
Sawyer is the epitome of a hound-full of energy, always ready to play, and never afraid to let you know what's on his mind! He loves spending time with his furry friends and is always up for an adventure, whether that means going for a walk, exploring the play yard, or chasing around with his hound buddies.
One of Sawyer's sweetest traits is that, even when he's having the time of his life, he'll occasionally stop what he's doing just to come check in with his people. He might be in the middle of a full-speed chasing spree and suddenly decide it's time to make sure you're still there.
And if there's water involved, Sawyer is definitely interested! He enjoys standing in the pools in our play yard, so we think he could be a great match for someone who loves spending time around the water.

All dog adoption fees include the animal being micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, monthly heart worm and flea prevention, and any required medical care while with us.
