Meet Pappy! This sweet boy may be a little fearful at first, but underneath it all he's a happy pup who just needs a little time to warm up and feel safe. Pappy is still learning about the world around him and would do best with a patient home that will give him the time, understanding, and encouragement he needs to build confidence.
Because he can be a bit nervous, Pappy is looking for a home without small children, where things can stay calm and predictable for him while he continues to grow.
Pappy walks well on leash and is currently working on his training, and he's doing very well! He's a smart boy who benefits from consistency and positive reinforcement. He also has a good amount of energy, so he'll need someone who can spend time with him, help him burn off that energy, and continue building his skills.
With patience, structure, and lots of love, Pappy is going to blossom into a wonderful companion.
All dog adoption fees include the animal being micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, monthly heart worm and flea prevention, and any required medical care while with us.
