Doug absolutely loves other dogs and thrives in their company. In fact, he needs a home with another friendly dog. Having a confident canine companion helps Doug feel more secure and gives him someone to play with and learn from. He enjoys playing with other dogs and often looks to them for reassurance.
Because Doug can be nervous around people, especially strangers, another dog in the home will help him continue gaining confidence and learning that the world isn't such a scary place.
Doug would do best in a calm home environment, and we recommend a home without small children, as their fast movements and noise may be overwhelming for him.
He's also a big fan of treats, which are the quickest way to his heart! With a few snacks and a soft voice, you'll have a loyal friend for life.

All dog adoption fees include the animal being micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, monthly heart worm and flea prevention, and any required medical care while with us.
