Say hi to Atlas! Atlas is a sweet guy looking for his forever. Atlas loves snuggling up to those he loves, a good snack, and playtime! Atlas would do great in a home with someone who will dedicate the time helping him become the best possible version of himself. He is good on a leash, loves hanging out with staff and volunteers, and you are sure to never have a dull moment with him. He is a good boy, in need of a good person to save him!
Atlas is heart worm positive. Saint Frances Animal center gives heart worm-positive dogs a course of antibiotics. They then receive monthly heart worm prevention, as any dog should. We recommend speaking to your veterinarian before adopting a heart worm-positive dog. Heart worm disease in dogs is a treatable condition, and dogs can go on to live a healthy life and make exceptional companions and family pets.
At this time, Atlas seems to do alright with cats and is good with other dogs, if you have any dogs in the home, they must come to the facility for a meet and greet.
All dog adoption fees include the animal being micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, monthly heart worm and flea prevention, and any required medical care while with us.
