Sebastian is heart worm positive. Saint Frances Animal center gives heart worm-positive dogs a course of antibiotics. They then receive monthly heart worm prevention, as any dog should. We recommend speaking to your veterinarian before adopting a heart worm-positive dog. Heart worm disease in dogs is a treatable condition, and dogs can go on to live a healthy life and make exceptional companions and family pets.
At this time, if you have any dogs at home, they must come to the facility for a meet and greet.
All dog adoption fees include the animal being micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, monthly heart worm and flea prevention, and any required medical care while with us.
