Meet Sheryl who goes by "Harper" in her foster home. Sheryl is a medium sized dog with a moderate energy level. She came to us here at Saint Frances Animal Center extremely underweight, but since arriving in a loving foster home, she has blossomed beautifully! She is currently in a foster home with various breeds and sized of dogs and she plays well with all. She loves dog beds and she enjoys burrowing her toys in her bed. She loves all people, especially children! She is currently learning some basic training commands. Sheryl loves affection and loves being loved on. If you are searching for a loving and loyal companion, Sheryl (Harper) may just be the one for you!
At this time, if you have any dogs at home, they must come to the facility for a meet and greet.
All dog adoption fees include the animal being micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, monthly heart worm and flea prevention, and any required medical care while with us.
Sheryl is heart worm positive. Saint Frances Animal center gives heart worm-positive dogs a course of antibiotics. They then receive monthly heart worm prevention, as any dog should. We recommend speaking to your veterinarian before adopting a heart worm-positive dog. Heart worm disease in dogs is a treatable condition, and dogs can go on to live a healthy life and make exceptional companions and family pets.
