Meet Kali! Kali is a calm girl who loves affection. Our volunteers have told staff that she walks great on a leash and that she will sit beside you like a friend wanting to hangout with you. During her time here at the shelter she has been paired with some of our timid dogs and she has helped them to learn to trust. She's kinda like a therapy dog for dogs, and humans if you ask us! If you are interested in adding Kali as a new member of your family, please fill out an adoption application today, she may just be the perfect match for you!
At this time, if you have any dogs at home, they must come to the facility for a meet and greet.
All dog adoption fees include the animal being micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, monthly heart worm and flea prevention, and any required medical care while with us.
Kali is heart worm positive. Saint Frances Animal center gives heart worm-positive dogs a course of antibiotics. They then receive monthly heart worm prevention, as any dog should. We recommend speaking to your veterinarian before adopting a heart worm-positive dog. Heart worm disease in dogs is a treatable condition, and dogs can go on to live a healthy life and make exceptional companions and family pets.
