Boogie is heart worm positive. Saint Frances Animal center gives heart worm-positive dogs a course of antibiotics. They then receive monthly heart worm prevention, as any dog should. We recommend speaking to your veterinarian before adopting a heart worm-positive dog. Heart worm disease in dogs is a treatable condition, and dogs can go on to live a healthy life and make exceptional companions and family pets.
