Meet Cole, the coolest guy around! Cole is a very loving boy with a big heart to give someone. Cole enjoys pets, snuggles and quality time with those he loves. He is extremely gentle, and we believe that he would do good in a home with other dogs and/or kids. Cole has been here at the shelter for quite some time, and he needs to find a family of his own. This sweet boy came to us with his feet being hairless around the toes and nail beds. We believe before coming here into our care that he has suffered severe feet infections of some sort. Now, while in our care he is doing wonderfully despite his feet infections. Please help this sweet boy find his forever!
Cole is heart worm positive. Saint Frances Animal center gives heart worm-positive dogs a course of antibiotics. They then receive monthly heart worm prevention, as any dog should. We recommend speaking to your veterinarian before adopting a heart worm-positive dog. Heart worm disease in dogs is a treatable condition, and dogs can go on to live a healthy life and make exceptional companions and family pets.
At this time, if you have any dogs at home, they must come to the facility for a meet and greet.
All dog adoption fees include the animal being micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, monthly heart worm and flea prevention, and any required medical care while with us.
