Meet Dussie! Ms. Dussie is as sweet as can be. This loving gal came to us here at Saint Francis Animal Center pregnant. She has always had to care for others and now it is time for us to put her first. In our play yard she has so much fun playing with toys and looking for treats. She enjoys going for walks and would do great in a home with someone who enjoys walks, playing, and even the occasional nap or two. Help us help this sweet girl find her forever home, we promise that if you give her the chance, you won't regret it!
Dussie is heart worm positive. Saint Frances Animal center gives heart worm-positive dogs a course of antibiotics. They then receive monthly heart worm prevention, as any dog should. We recommend speaking to your veterinarian before adopting a heart worm-positive dog. Heart worm disease in dogs is a treatable condition, and dogs can go on to live a healthy life and make exceptional companions and family pets.
At this time, if you have any dogs at home, they must come to the facility for a meet and greet.
All dog adoption fees include the animal being micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, monthly heart worm and flea prevention, and any required medical care while with us.
