Thea is a darling, 2-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog-mix! Her gorgeous coat and big smiles, along with her friendly, easy-going personality, make this dog beautiful inside and out! Thea came to shelter as a stray, after reportedly taking refuge under a local church for a few weeks. We don't know how long Thea had been without a home, but we do know this sweet girl is praying for a family that will love and cherish her for the good girl she is. Thea is very affectionate, gentle, and polite with people. Thea has enjoyed meeting and playing with other dogs here at the shelter, so she may do well with a family that is looking to add another dog to their home. Meet and greets with the whole family, both 2-legged or 4-legged are welcome and encouraged.
Thea has tested positive for heartworms. There are several options for treatment and a documented plan must be in place with your veterinarian at the time of adoption. Companions of CPAS, our affiliated friends group, can sponsor some of the needed medications too, so costs can be minimal. Don't let her heartworm status stop you from bringing this girl into your life!
The adoption fee is $50 and before Thea leaves the shelter, she will be spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.
