Hey, friends! My name is Magpie, and I'm a cute lil' female kitty who's here at the shelter just waiting for the purr-fect human to come along and adopt me! My mom, Cuckoo, is here--along with my siblings--and we are all named after birds (my sisters are Sparrow and Starling)! So what's my story? Well, my mom was found in a neighborhood with nobody to care for her, and was brought to the shelter where she gave birth to my siblings and I shortly after arriving. It's not ideal for baby animals to be born at the shelter, but we are making the best of it and spend our time playing and napping in our kennel. We can't wait to have an actual home with a loving human. I'm super-cute (as most kittens are) and soft and cuddly. I would love to be adopted with one of my siblings, so that I will always have a furry friend and companion. I must be an indoor-only cat to keep me safe from the many outside dangers that could hurt me. Lots of toys, a friend to play with, and a comfy bed would be enough to keep me happy and content.
