Meet Mirah & MJ! These bonded sisters are young lionhead/English spot/hotot rabbits (English spot mom and harlequin lionhead dad) that are part of a litter of 9 that came to our shelter when they were 10 days old. Mirah, MJ and there siblings were born 4/22/24 after someone irresponsibly bred her mom and dad. Thankfully we were able to get mom (Bridget) and babies to safety and now they are old enough to be adopted!
Mirah is a gorgeous girl with a bit of a shy side but is very gentle and sweet once she feels safe. MJ is sweet and fun-loving and is the more outgoing one of the pair. These girls are still young and gaining confidence but every day they're getting more and more brave! Both are very curious and will do anything for snacks.
They are small-medium sized rabbits at about 3 pounds each and may grow to be closer to 4 pounds based on the size of her mom. They are looking for a low-stress and quiet home where they are free to roam outside of her pen enclosure for much of the day. Neither of them love to be held held but will tolerate it when held gently and infrequently. They do like getting pet - especially MJ! They love gentle pets and is curious of humans! Their adoption fee includes RHDV2 vaccination, microchip and spay surgery. Please contact us for more information on Mirah & MJ!
