Look at this face. Who would have guessed this little doll has had a cesarian AND had both knees repaired?
Tika has no time for a pity party. This sweet little firecracker is all dog, all the time. If you want to have cocktails on the patio, she's your gal. If there's a party going on she wants to be there. If it's a Netflix and chill night, save her a seat. She's up for a ride in the car, a walk in the 'hood or a cuddle on the couch.
Perfect as she is, she does have a skin issue, so no chicken or turkey on the menu, and to keep things in check she needs a Cytopoint injection every 3 months or so. And even though her knees have been repaired, care needs to be taken with jumping up and down off furniture. Stairs or a ramp are good options for when you can't be there to pick her up.
She's a quiet girl but will announce the arrival of guests at the door. If there is another dog with an eye on her food, she'll let them know who's boss. And if you don't mind, she'd like to sleep in most mornings. Naps are to be savored.
Not one for over-the-top signals when it's potty time, she's subtle and thinks you're smart enough to figure it out. On a walk she'll try to drag you to wherever the heck she's going, but at under 10 pounds, she's sure you can handle it. Tika's mantra is 'I may be small, but I'm definitely mighty'.
Tika's new family wish list includes children 7 years and older, an active household, plenty of outdoor time and belly rubs. Lots of belly rubs.
