Jasper - Adoptable
Please join us in welcoming back this beautiful brindle boy Jasper who has returned to the Manor in search of his forever family. As you may remember, Jasper was one of many chihuahuas who was surrendered to us in November. We thought that we had found his forever family but as it turns out, he did not enjoy sharing his household with the other canines. So, he's back with us and ready to find his perfect new home...a home where he can revel with his people as the solo dog.
The definition of paradise for this dapper 8 pound guy is sleeping under the covers in your bed, being held at every opportunity and getting plenty of cuddles. When he wants attention, he'll put his head in the palm of your hand and stare deeply at you with his beautiful brown eyes. His foster mom says he has the sweetest face imaginable and lives to love his people.
Jasper relishes his stuffies and is a big fan of bully sticks. He loves car rides and leash walks. He can be shy with people but will warm with a little time. He's likes to play with most dogs but just doesn't want to live with them.
In addition to his good looks, Jasper brings a wonderful surprise - an impressive artistic talent expressed through dance. He performs circles when excited. Circles when his foster mom comes home. Circles at meal time. And, yes, circles when it's time to...ahem... go for his number two. Little twinkle toes.
Our twirling boy is looking for a loving home where someone is home a lot. He's a dog who will thrive with consistency, love, play, fun and adventures. He wants to be the only 4 legged member in the family and he would also prefer no small children. Jasper will bark when his foster mom goes out but settles very quickly, so apartments may not be suitable.
This cuddly youngster is smart and has a big heart and we feel he is a special little dog. All he needs now for a happy life is to find his perfect dance partner. Could that be you?
