Spirit loves people and thrives on attention and affection. She's good with other dogs, more often than not choosing to ignore them. She's untested with cats.
Spirit spent her life with a loving family with children before being surrendered due to very unfortunate circumstances. Although she's good with kids, Spirit has a tendency to jump up on people when excited so we are looking for an adult only household for this big girl who weighs in at 30 kilos. Spirit is a joy to have in the house - very neat and not destructive.
She's loves travelling with her people for adventures in the car. She requires a moderate amount of exercise and loves to explore outdoors. A fenced yard would be wonderful but experience with a long lead line would also allow her to experience nature on her outings. Spirit is a strong dog who is a puller on leash so given that's she's smart and eager to please, consistent positive training will undoubtedly improve her leash skills. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who loves nothing more than to be by your side wherever life takes you, Spirit may be the right companion for you.
