Hey, I'm Katie-a 67-pound Labrador Retriever mix with a goofy, lovable personality and a heart as big as my wagging tail! I'm your classic derpy Lab, always on the move and always looking for the next adventure. I absolutely love tennis balls-they help me open up and get comfortable, and I'll never say no to a good game of fetch! I came in with my buddy Maddi, and while we did just fine when separated, we'd love to stay playmates if we can. I'm definitely the more go-with-the-flow of the two-sweet, a bit submissive, and happy to let things unfold around me. I'm an energetic girl who thrives in an active home where I can stay busy and engaged. If I get bored, I might turn to a little mischief to keep myself entertained, so I'd love a family that can keep me physically and mentally stimulated. I adore attention and will gladly hog all the pets you've got-I mean, why share, right? I can be a little unsure in new situations and may spook easily, so I'd really benefit from continued confidence building and socialization. With a bit of patience and a lot of love, I'll grow into the playful, happy-go-lucky companion you've been searching for.
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
