Hi, I'm Puck-a 61-pound Labrador Retriever mix with a gentle heart and a curious spirit. I came into the shelter with my buddy Hobbes, and while we stick pretty close together right now, it's hard to say if we're truly bonded or just finding comfort in each other while we figure things out. I'll happily tag along wherever Hobbes goes, even if he's barking at something random-I just don't want to miss out! But I'm also just fine doing my own thing. I enjoy exploring the outdoors, sniffing around, and taking in the fresh air. Nature is where I feel most relaxed. When I meet new people, I might be a little cautious at first, but I warm up with some patience and space. The best way to get to know me is slowly and gently-let me come to you, and soon enough, I'll be nudging my nose into you for some love and attention. I'm actually the more confident and social one between Hobbes and me, and I've even been known to dish out a few sweet kisses when I'm feeling comfortable. The shelter has me a little unsure right now, but once I'm in a home where I can truly settle in, I know my personality will shine. If you're looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little time to blossom, I'd love to be your new best friend.
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
