Hi, I'm Violet-a 52-pound German Shepherd mix with a heart full of curiosity and a serious love for the great outdoors. If it were up to me, I'd spend all day outside exploring every inch of the yard, sniffing out new smells, and sticking my nose into any and all crevices I can find (I'm a little nosey like that!). I'm a pretty independent girl and like to do my own thing, but don't let that fool you-I've got a playful, silly side too! I'm known for my dramatic side-eye when I'm so over your nonsense, and I've even been caught sliding around with the zoomies, grinning from ear to ear and play-bowing like a goofball. Once I've burned off some energy, I'm a calm, gentle soul who loves nothing more than hanging out and relaxing with my people. I've got great manners and a sweet disposition, and I never say no to a good butt scratch-seriously, I'll even move my tail to make it easier for you (you're welcome!). I give the best kisses and love being around people once I've had some time to explore and settle in. I may enjoy my independence, but I've got plenty of love to give and would be so happy to find a home where I can be my goofy, outdoorsy, affectionate self. If you've got a yard and a sense of humor, I think we might just be a perfect match!
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
