Hey there, I'm Hendrix, a 64-pound Labrador mix with a heart full of curiosity and a little bit of shyness. I might not be the most confident pup right off the bat-I get pretty nervous around new people and animals-but if you're patient and kind, my sweet and playful side will shine through. Once I feel comfortable, I'm super friendly and full of energy, especially if you've got a tennis ball to throw (bonus points if I get to catch it in mid-air!). I'm an active guy who loves being outside, going on adventures, and sniffing around every corner like a true explorer. I can be a bit independent and get lost in my own world sometimes, but I always come back when treats are involved-I'm a great listener when snacks are on the line! I'm also a master of the zoomies, so don't be surprised if I suddenly take off running with joy. If you're looking for a loyal buddy who just needs a little time to bloom, I might be your perfect hiking pal.
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
