Hi, I'm Nyx, a 53-pound shepherd mix, and I came here with my best friend Lyra! She's my safe space, my wrestling buddy, and the braver of the two of us, but once I feel comfortable, I have so much love to give. I'm a bit wary and scared of new people and things, so I need a patient person who will give me the time and confidence to come out of my shell. But trust me, it's worth the wait! I absolutely LOVE belly rubs and butt scratches, and if you let me, I'll gently nibble on your hand and groom you like you're part of my pack. Being outside is my favorite-I'll zoom around, play in the snow (and eat it!), and wrestle with Lyra until we're both tired and happy. Once I trust you, I'm incredibly affectionate and will show you just how loving I can be. I would love to meet you!
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
