Hey there, I'm Kai-a 49-pound shepherd mix with a happy heart and a playful spirit! Don't let my age fool you-I've still got plenty of energy to burn and love nothing more than running around, sniffing every corner of the yard, and chasing after my favorite squeaky toys. I'm a big fan of fetch and tug, and when the fun winds down, I'll lean into you like a big cat or rub up against you just to soak up some love (especially those glorious butt scratches-I'll even tap my feet for them!). I'm well mannered and know my commands, though I've got a stubborn streak now and then, just to keep things interesting. I'm sweet, curious, and full of personality, and I'd do best in an adult home where my natural protective instincts are respected and understood.
My adoption fee of $90+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
